I walked into Tranquil Space Arlington for the first time in February 2012 looking for a place to relax and take breaks from my busy life as a PhD student. Little did I know then, how much this studio would change my life. I started working at the front desk a few months later, in May 2013 I became the Studio Manager, then soon enrolled in Teacher Training, and I taught my first class at Tranquil Space Arlington in January 2015. Tranquil Space was my hOMe away from hOMe. Its community was so special and I look forward to reconnecting with everyone online through the Tranquil Space Teachers Collective.

Yoga has been a wonderful way for me to take time for myself, connect with my breath, listen to my body, let go of stress, and slow down in this crazy world. I teach to be able to share these benefits with others. In my classes, I like to create a safe space where I encourage every yogi to listen to his/her body and make modifications throughout practice as needed. I hope everyone always leaves their mat after class feeling at peace. I pair my classes with fun playlists aimed to enhance the practice.

I enjoy connecting with others through yoga, as I continue to learn and grow as both a teacher and student. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

I hope to see you all on the mat again soon!
