Erin Beddingfield
Erin first discovered yoga in a northern Virginia gym in 2010 as a complement to her long distance running regimen. In addition to the many physical benefits of asana, she quickly discovered that the peaceful introspection involved in the practice helped her to better manage stress levels at work, school and in life, and to live more fully in the present moment.
After moving to Arlington in 2012, she found the Tranquil Space community and was immediately at home. She completed her 200-hour teacher training certification with Tranquil Space in December 2013 and is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200) with the Yoga Alliance.
In 2018, after training with Nikki Myers, she became a Yoga for 12-Step Recovery (Y12SR) certified leader. In addition to learning from the many talented and inspirational teachers of the Tranquil Space program, Erin has continued her teaching journey through trainings with Jill Abelson, Megan Davis, Kristin Leal, Darren Main, and Tao Porchon-Lynch.
Erin is an avid cyclist, climber, outdoorswoman and creature lover. She deeply values community and facilitates an environment where all are welcomed as their true, authentic selves.
