Kris Cox
Kris Cox found her yoga legs in a hot yoga studio in 2003, and has explored her yoga practice ever since. Yoga was a good complement to her biking practice, and she found grounding in the reflective aspect of the practice. Her practice is always changing, and she loved discovering ways to incorporate yoga and play while exploring acrobatic yoga and slackline yoga. She is grateful to have practiced and taught in DC, Boston, and Kigali, Rwanda.
Kris enjoys helping her students bring mindfulness, attention to their breath, and their own internal wisdom to their yoga practice. She completed her 200-hour training in 2010, and finished her 500-hour course of study in 2019, both with Tranquil Space.
Kris taught regular classes at Yego Yoga, JOURNEYOGA, and Tranquil Space/Yoga Works - Dupont Circle. She is taking a short break from teaching in 2021.
